The variable speed trigger on this polisher gives you an additional level of control over this tool and this can be operated by applying varying levels of force. An additional safety feature available on the DWP849X comes in the form of the presence of a ‘No-Volt Release Switch’ which prevents the unit from starting when plugged in even if the switch is 'on' it must be reset before the tool will power up.
