ESAB 15Kg Economy Mig Welding Wire

There are many different brands of MIG welding wire on the market today, but there are several brands which differ from each other in fundamental ways. The major differences between these products are the raw materials which are used and whether the wire is copper coated or not. Caulfield’s selection of MIG welding wire is copper coated, G3Si1 solid wire for gas-metal arc welding of all general structural and engineering unalloyed and low-alloyed carbon-manganese steels.

Welding wire is a fundamental aspect of a quality welding job which is why quality is so important and why Caulfield’s selection is made from carbon-manganese steel (Mn/Si-alloyed). This top quality MIG welding wire is designed to be placed within the arc as you run it across the seam you’re working on. The welding wire melts quickly and easily across the seam, creating an effective seal exactly where you need it.

Not all welding wires come with the copper coating but this is part of what separates the good from the bad. The copper coating serves to strengthen the electrical conduction of your welding process, gathering the current at the point of your weld. Despite being softer than other alloys, and therefore more comfortable on your welding machinery, the copper also serves to protect the wire beneath from corrosion which would make it unusable.

The 15kg economy MIG welding wire is convenient and perfect for big jobs or simply for ensuring that you’re stocked up for the future.

Shielding Gas: M21, C1 (EN ISO 14175)
