Knipex 9516165 165mm VDE Cable Shears
Knipex 95 16 165 cable shears are ideal for cutting copper and aluminium cables, single and multiple wire cables but they are not suitable for steel wire and hard drawn copper conductors. These Knipex cable shears have precision ground and hardened blades that will give the user a good professional finish to any job application with a clean and smooth cut without crushing and deformation of the desired material. With twin cutting edge the cutters are designed for cutting cables up to 15 mm diameter. The handles are always in a favourable position due to initial and final cut even in case of large cable cross sections. The cable cutters can be easily operated with one-hand as the low effort required due to high transmission ratio and new blade geometry. There is a protective guard fitted to the cutters to help stop pinching of the hands while in use and an adjustable screw joint for tension settings. The tool is made from high-grade vanadium special tool steel which has been forged and then oil-hardened for a longer, robust working life. It is also fitted with VDE handles for added safety, comfort and grip VDE tested 1000 volt.
