If you’re adding shelf pin holes to an existing piece of furniture or building shelves from scratch, the Shelf Pin Jig is the perfect tool for the job. Unlike other shelf pin guides, the Kreg Shelf Pin Jig features hardened steel drill guides that ensure precise and straight drilling, so you’ll get level, wobble-free shelves.
The Shelf Pin Jig also includes a dual-position, adjustable fence for custom hole placement, a locating pin for quick and accurate spacing reference, and an ultra-sharp 5mm brad-point bit with depth collar that can be stored on the bottom side of the Shelf Pin Jig when not in use.
Unlike thin and flexible guides, the hardened-steel drill guides of the Kreg Shelf Pin Jig ensure each and every hole you drill is perfectly straight and true. The compact size of the Shelf Pin Jig makes it perfect for adding additional shelf pin holes in existing furniture, as well as for building projects from scratch. Need more length for additional speed? Quickly drill six holes in one setup – or connect a second Shelf Pin Jig to drill longer rows of holes with the same consistent spacing.
The fence can be easily removed and switched to the other side of the jig or removed completely when you need to work inside a confined space. Kreg hardened-steel drill guides are centred on standard 32 mm spacing. The jig comes complete with a 5 mm drill bit that fits commonly available shelf-pins. A 1/4" (6 mm) drill bit is also available separately.
