Makita HP1640 650 Watt Percussion Drill

Drilling tough surfaces such as masonry is a difficult job. This is why the Makita Percussion Drill is the top choice for many professionals in the construction industry.

Unlike your traditional electric drill, which only uses a rotating action, the Makita adds a rapid hammering action. This feature allows you to penetrate concrete and brick much faster, and with minimal effort.

What’s also great about the Makita is that you have the choice to turn off the hammering action. In this way, you can use the tool as a regular drill when working on surfaces such as wood and metal. Once you’re done, simply turn the hammering action back on, and you’re ready to install that electric box or cabinet on the wall.

Furthermore, the Makita lets you vary the drilling speed. Using its variable speed trigger, you can raise or lower the speed in a flash. This means you will be able to tackle heavy-duty jobs as well as those jobs that require a more delicate touch.

Features:
  • Forward/Reverse rotation
  • Variable speed control by trigger
  • Double Insulation
  • In-line positive grip design maximises power thrust
  • Lightweight body to reduce arm fatigue
