The 2-16-269 chisel set is 50 percent stronger than the older Dynagrip Pro Chisel (on the handle side impact test). This extra durability gives the user an extra level of reassurance that their tool is fit for the job that’s intended. These Stanley chisels have a steel strike-cap which along with the blade, is made from a quality chrome alloy (ball bearing grade) to provide far superior edge retention. This FatMax chisel set also features an ergonomic soft grip handle to maximize comfort in use as well as an extra level of safety represented by the full-length blade guard.
