Vaughan's Ball Pein Hammers are the product of input from professionals in every mechanical trade. The dropped forged heads, crowned head and peen are crafted from American high-carbon steel and tempered to precise standards. The oval hickory handles are lacquered for a comfortable feel. The handle is compression wedged with more wood in the eye and neck to reduce the chances of breakage. The heads are coated with rust-resistant black paint with a polished striking head and peen.
